Description

  • Deliver end-to-end product features from scoping with product through implementation, testing, and CI/CD deployment.
  • Develop and maintain Vue.js/TypeScript frontend applications, Laravel/PHP backend services, REST APIs, background workers, and infrastructure.
  • Build features for candidate search and matching, recruiter workflows, job posting, messaging, reporting, and automation.
  • Provide technical ownership through design decisions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and engineering discussions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, product design, and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver incremental value.
  • Improve testing practices, code quality metrics, development processes, architecture, and shared engineering standards.
  • Reduce technical debt and contribute to a robust, well-architected product.
  • Mentor peers while continuing to learn from and support other team members.
  • Influence the product roadmap by advocating for technical investments and long-term value.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with strict TypeScript and Vue.js or an equivalent reactive framework such as React or modern Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with Laravel, PHP 8, and REST API development best practices.
  • Understanding of state management and component architecture.
  • Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SES, and CloudFront.
  • Experience with relational databases, migrations, and schema management.
  • Proficiency with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and CI/CD pipelines, including AWS CodeBuild or CodePipeline.
  • Knowledge of Docker, containerization, Git, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization, including sessions, OAuth, SSO, and secure programming practices.
  • Ability to work within agile processes, troubleshoot issues, analyze bugs, collaborate with stakeholders, and make pragmatic technical decisions.
  • Preferred experience with recruitment/ATS domains, WebSockets, complex forms, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, large datasets, observability tools, and AI-assisted software development.
