Description

  • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and on time.
  • Review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues promptly.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to answer payment inquiries and resolve related issues.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and update accounting databases and systems.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Perform corporate credit card reconciliations and follow up on missing receipts or incorrect expense coding.
  • Support vendor onboarding and maintenance by collecting tax forms, banking details, and required compliance documentation.
  • Monitor invoice approval workflows and follow up to avoid payment delays.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other cross-functional teams to improve AP processes and efficiency.
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to reduce manual work.
  • Stay current on best practices and accounting regulation changes related to accounts payable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
