Description

  • Design, build, and maintain high-loaded backend systems and APIs to support production traffic and reliability goals
  • Implement data mapping and integration between diverse menu/order systems and multiple external APIs to ensure seamless data transfer
  • Develop new backend features and enhancements for production systems and iterate on existing implementations
  • Support and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability, performance, and incident resolution
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions
  • Identify, reduce, and prioritize technical debt and implement improvements to maintain long-term code quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust, production-ready solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of backend architecture, development practices, and documentation
  • Influence technical best practices and mentor or provide technical guidance to other engineers

Requirements

  • 4+ years of commercial backend development experience with deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript in production environments
  • 2–3+ years of AWS experience (examples: EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch)
  • Solid experience with MongoDB
  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of backend architecture and service design
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently, resolve complex issues, and deliver solutions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with Upper-Intermediate+ English
  • Desirable: experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to engineers
