Description

  • Own the month-end close process end to end, including reviewing work, producing journal entries, and improving close timelines and accuracy.
  • Maintain high-quality internal and external financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Own ASC 606 revenue recognition processes for both self-serve and enterprise contracts.
  • Manage core accounting operations including accounts payable, payroll accounting, accruals, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Support federal, state, and local tax requirements and coordinate with external tax advisors on filings and compliance matters.
  • Own sales tax processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements across the accounting stack to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and issues are resolved quickly.
  • Manage and mentor the Senior Accountant and contribute across the full accounting stack.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Deep experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with NetSuite administration.
  • Familiarity with Zip and Navan is a plus.
  • Comfort working across the full accounting stack from operational accounting to financial reporting.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior accounting staff.
  • Nice to have: experience with Numeric.
  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach and dive into any accounting task as needed.
  • Must include the word "analog" as the first word in the cover letter when applying.
