Description

  • Own lifecycle strategy and execution across onboarding, retention, expansion, and winback journeys.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define user-level triggers, event tracking, and lifecycle experiments.
  • Identify customer journey friction points and design lifecycle solutions that improve the member experience.
  • Improve email deliverability, sender reputation, and compliance across lifecycle campaigns.
  • Develop segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver relevant messaging at the right time.
  • Design upsell and expansion programs for annual plans, multi-seat subscriptions, and higher-value tiers.
  • Run A/B tests and lift analyses to optimize conversion, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support and CX to reduce pain points and ticket volume through proactive interventions.
  • Report on lifecycle KPIs and build dashboards to monitor performance over time.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, retention, or product-led growth, preferably in consumer SaaS or subscription businesses.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering on personalized, product-integrated marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of email deliverability best practices, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
  • Experience managing customer journeys in Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, or similar tools.
  • Strong skills in segmentation, cohort analysis, experimentation, and SQL, or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills with a bias for action.
  • Passion for online privacy, consumer protection, and making the web safer.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for domestic and international trips, with travel expenses covered by the company.
