Description

  • Lead development and execution of the Integrated Medical Affairs Plan in alignment with asset strategy and company goals.
  • Maintain deep scientific and medical knowledge of CNS disease states, treatment landscapes, and clinical decision-making.
  • Partner with publications and medical education teams on educational priorities, CME grants, omnichannel approaches, and peer-to-peer programs.
  • Bring the HCP perspective into cross-functional decision-making.
  • Identify data gaps and support the Integrated Data Generation Plan, investigator-initiated studies, and real-world evidence priorities.
  • Provide internal training on investigational or approved products, disease state, and unmet needs.
  • Support data generation, analysis, and interpretation for Phase 4 studies.
  • Serve as medical reviewer for Medical, Legal and Regulatory and Promotional Review Committees.
  • Oversee and support the generation and dissemination of clinical and non-clinical data and high-quality publications.
  • Build strategic relationships with clinical experts, societies, collaborative groups, advocacy groups, and other external stakeholders.
  • Present medical content at congresses, symposia, and advisory boards.
  • Collaborate across R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Legal, Market Access, patient advocacy, and government affairs.
  • Ensure adherence to global Medical Affairs standards and related policies and processes.
  • Provide senior medical leadership and decision support for business strategy, innovation, and new product development as needed.

Requirements

  • Advanced or doctoral degree in health sciences such as PharmD, MD, or PhD required.
  • 10+ years of experience in CNS Medical Affairs, including leadership roles and launch experience.
  • Phase 4 experience desired.
  • Understanding of the medical affairs legal and regulatory environment.
  • Experience with project and vendor management.
  • Thorough understanding of the CNS environment and key stakeholders.
  • Experience with medical and scientific review for promotional and medical communications.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of core medical affairs accountabilities.
