Description

  • Drive and scale Stripe’s performance philosophy and practices across the employee lifecycle.
  • Design and improve performance experiences that clarify expectations, support feedback, and enable meaningful contributions.
  • Partner with People Products and cross-functional stakeholders to translate program needs into scalable systems, processes, and user journeys.
  • Shape programs, mechanisms, and insights that support career development, talent planning, succession, and people investment.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional workstreams across global stakeholders and interconnected teams.
  • Surface risks and dependencies early, unblock critical decisions, and keep programs moving in ambiguous environments.
  • Define problem statements and use qualitative and quantitative data to refine strategy, programs, and execution.
  • Build seamless end-to-end experiences while coordinating work across time zones and partner functions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building and scaling global People or HR experiences, with experience across both process and product or systems design.
  • Experience leading complex programs in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership and cross-functional problem solving.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand how people, processes, tools, policies, and organizational decisions influence one another over time.
  • Experience augmenting workflows and processes using AI tools.
  • A demonstrated ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across levels and functions.
  • A disciplined approach to problem solving that starts with the "why" and uses quantitative and qualitative data to define problem statements.
  • High agency and sound judgment, including the ability to identify risks or opportunities and escalate thoughtfully when blocked.
  • Deep alignment with Stripe’s Operating Principle, "Obsess over Talent."
  • Curiosity, humility, and willingness to change course when new evidence suggests a better path.
  • 10+ years across People programs such as talent management, organizational development, leadership or executive development, program and talent operations, and compensation and benefits (preferred).
  • People product design and management experience in high-growth environments with fast iterative cycles and changing priorities (preferred).
  • Experience leading executive-level talent discussions that influence People strategy (preferred).
