Description

  • Lead the development of project plans to support functional areas or workstreams.
  • Monitor project execution and deliverables to ensure milestones and objectives are met.
  • Anticipate risks and issues such as resource bottlenecks and critical milestone delays.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans proactively.
  • Navigate multiple stakeholders and priorities in a highly matrixed, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Drive initiatives, resolve issues, and facilitate conflict management to keep projects on track.
  • Assimilate complex information, operate in ambiguous situations, and simplify complex issues.
  • Collaborate across functional areas such as clinical, preclinical, CMC, or regulatory affairs.
  • Apply drug development business processes to project and program management.
  • Use project management tools including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and similar software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management within pharma or biotech.
  • Experience in late-phase development organizations.
  • Familiarity with clinical trials from a project or program management perspective.
  • Experience with NDA submissions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • High competence with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, or equivalent PM tools.
  • Experience with Planisware Enterprise and Office Timeline is preferred but not required.
