Description

  • Own the global commercial supply chain function, commercial supplier oversight, and launch and ongoing supply deliverables for Definium products.
  • Develop and maintain an end-to-end global supply chain strategy from drug substance through finished drug product.
  • Oversee commercial contract manufacturers and suppliers, including identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Work with external manufacturers and packaging organizations to establish commercial supply agreements and support demand and forecast planning.
  • Partner with Trade and Distribution to select and oversee third-party logistics providers and support efficient product delivery to end customers.
  • Lead end-to-end value chain planning, including inventory management across raw materials, drug substance, drug products, and finished goods.
  • Implement and integrate serialization solutions across the supply and distribution network in alignment with DSCSA requirements.
  • Develop and optimize processes and systems, including ERP, in collaboration with commercial, pharmaceutical development, quality, and finance teams.
  • Create risk mitigation strategies to support uninterrupted supply and business continuity.
  • Provide leadership and vision to improve supply chain maturity through processes, technology, and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or business.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, including specialty product launches.
  • Significant experience partnering with and leading raw material, small molecule drug substance, bulk drug product, and final packaging suppliers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, packaging and labeling, serialization, and distribution.
  • Expertise in strategic global supply chain, commercial manufacturing, and supplier relationship management in a virtual environment.
  • Proven track record in launch preparation and supply of specialty pharmaceutical products, including Schedule II-V controlled drugs.
  • Experience establishing systems to support commercial products in a first-launch environment, including inventory and supply planning software.
  • Knowledge of channel strategy design and implementation, including hub and wholesaler models.
  • Working understanding of cGMPs, cGDPs, and DSCSA guidance for commercial product supply.
  • Experience supporting sales and operations planning processes across functions.
  • Strong initiative, accountability, independence, and willingness to own projects through completion.
  • Ability to build relationships and partner across functions including Quality, Trade and Distribution, Pharmaceutical Development, Compliance, and Program Management.

  • Base salary range of $230,152.00 to $272,841.00.
