Description

  • Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code modules to provision and configure customer environments.
  • Support deploying and managing UDS environments across AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and on-premises systems.
  • Build and maintain custom UDS packages and application-specific modules for customer deployments.
  • Provide on-call support and resolve critical UDS issues while meeting SLA commitments.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for system integrators and mission customers, including troubleshooting and guidance.
  • Develop and deliver technical training content, including remote and on-site sessions on platform features and best practices.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding and support adoption of UDS deployments.
  • Gather customer and community feedback and translate it into actionable insights for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency, capabilities, and customer outcomes.
  • Analyze operational and usage data to identify trends and drive process improvements.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform, Terraform Automation and Collaboration Software (TACOS), Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized applications.
  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on system architecture and development.
  • Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, including networking, RBAC, and storage for cloud and on-prem clusters.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AKS, AWS EKS, or on-prem Kubernetes platforms such as RKE2, K3s, or k0s.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu, plus Helm, GitOps, and cluster provisioning/lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel less than 25% and travel as needed for on-site training and support.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification such as Security+ is preferred.
  • A DoD Secret or higher clearance is preferred.
