Description

  • Deploy and manage UDS environments across AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and on-premises Kubernetes environments.
  • Build and maintain custom UDS packages and application-specific modules for customer deployments.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code modules to provision and configure customer environments.
  • Provide on-call support and meet SLA commitments for critical customer issues.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex platform issues.
  • Develop and deliver technical training for customers through remote and on-site sessions.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding and support smooth adoption of UDS deployments.
  • Gather customer and community feedback and translate it into actionable input for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test new tools, techniques, and deployment strategies.
  • Analyze operational and usage data to identify trends and improve delivery processes.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance required to apply.
  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on system architecture and development.
  • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or on-prem Kubernetes distributions such as RKE2, K3s, or OpenShift.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures, including networking, RBAC, and storage for cloud and on-prem clusters.
  • Experience with Helm, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps/DevOps and CI/CD pipelines running on GitLab or GitHub.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification, such as Security+.
  • A DoD Secret or higher clearance is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including effectiveness in a remote team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel 10%-25% for on-site training and support.
