Description

  • Perform daily reconciliation of client fund activity across the general ledger, bank accounts, capital accounts, and internal systems.
  • Maintain reconciliation schedules, documentation, and audit trails.
  • Partner with Fund Accountants to investigate and resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes from a controls perspective.
  • Track recurring reconciliation issues and flag potential systemic or data-quality risks.
  • Document reconciliation findings and communicate them appropriately to relevant teams.
  • Identify and surface discrepancies on the same day they arise to maintain confidence in customer-facing and internal data.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in accounting or reconciliation-focused roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with multi-source financial data.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies methodically and communicate findings clearly.
  • Experience supporting close or audit-related processes.
  • Comfort operating independently within a defined scope.
  • Experience with venture capital or private equity funds preferred.
  • Familiarity with fund accounting or administration systems preferred.
  • Prior exposure to audit preparation or internal controls preferred.
