Description

  • Identify and pursue newsletter swap, cross-promotion, and co-marketing partnerships with complementary brands, tools, platforms, creators, and publishers.
  • Develop and manage affiliate and ambassador programs that turn readers into recruiters.
  • Land podcast appearances, media mentions, guest editorial placements, and earned media opportunities.
  • Create lead magnets, free resources, and other content assets that convert visitors into subscribers.
  • Repurpose newsletter content across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, and TikTok to drive inbound traffic and organic reach.
  • Write or brief landing page copy and build SEO content strategies that improve conversion and compounding inbound traffic.
  • Build and optimize referral and viral loops, including testing incentives, mechanics, and messaging to increase word-of-mouth growth.
  • Identify and participate in relevant online communities and events, such as Reddit, Facebook Groups, Discord, Slack, webinars, Twitter Spaces, and live events.
  • Report weekly on growth metrics, channel performance, and next steps.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in growth, content marketing, or audience development.
  • Demonstrated success growing an audience, community, newsletter, or media brand without relying primarily on paid advertising.
  • Strong writing ability for pitches, partnership emails, landing pages, and social posts.
  • Resourceful, scrappy approach to building with limited budgets.
  • Experience with cold outreach, rapport-building, and closing partnerships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance and pivot when needed.
  • Deep interest in stocks, DeFi, markets, crypto, and finance is preferred.
  • Experience running or growing a newsletter is preferred.
  • Experience with referral platforms like SparkLoop, Beehiiv Boosts, or ReferralHero is preferred.
  • Experience with SEO and content-led growth strategies is preferred.
  • Background in financial media, investing, fintech, or personal finance content is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with creators, podcasters, or newsletters in the finance or business space is preferred.
  • Familiarity with newsletter platforms like Beehiiv, ConvertKit, or Kit is preferred.
