Description

  • Build core product features for Dataiku DSS across one of several engineering themes.
  • Develop tools for data integration, transformation, cataloging, and developer workflows such as notebooks, SQL workbenches, and APIs.
  • Add LLM-enabled capabilities for data preparation, insight generation, and user interfaces.
  • Build next-generation AI and machine learning features, including integrations with newer models and cross-provider LLM APIs.
  • Collaborate with research teams on machine learning experiments and product innovation.
  • Enhance collaborative workspaces for organizing and exploring charts, dashboards, datasets, and related assets.
  • Develop new chart types, dashboards, and high-performance visualization experiences.
  • Build backend capabilities for MLOps, including automating retraining, monitoring, and deployment of ML models.
  • Improve platform scalability, latency, cloud integrations, and support for new databases and engines.
  • Develop AI governance features that support compliance, policy enforcement, and system integration.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in software engineering and building real products.
  • Experience at junior, mid, or senior level is considered.
  • A passion for combining backend performance with exceptional frontend user experience.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with engineering challenges at scale.
  • Ability to work from the London office in an onsite/hybrid setup or remotely from anywhere in the UK.
  • Experience with one or more of the listed stacks is relevant, including Java, Python, AngularJS, Angular, React, D3.js, ECharts, Node.js, Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Spark, AWS, Azure, GCP, PostgreSQL, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Background in data preparation, machine learning, MLOps, platform engineering, data visualization, or AI governance is preferred by theme.
  • Technical assessment as part of the hiring process, either home test or live coding.
  • Final-stage interviews with engineering leadership.
  • Open to candidates with diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
