Description

  • Contribute to the development of core Dataiku DSS product features within one of several engineering themes.
  • Build and improve tools for data integration, transformation, cataloging, notebooks, SQL workbenches, and APIs.
  • Develop AI and machine learning capabilities such as LLM APIs, model integrations, forecasting, and experimentation support.
  • Enhance collaborative workspaces and data consumption experiences that help users explore datasets, dashboards, and charts.
  • Design and implement data visualization features, including new chart types and dashboard performance improvements.
  • Build MLOps capabilities for retraining, monitoring, deployment, and lifecycle automation of ML models.
  • Scale and secure the platform by improving processing performance, cloud integrations, and support for new data sources and engines.
  • Develop AI governance features that support compliance, policy enforcement, and system integration.
  • Collaborate with research teams, engineering leads, and other stakeholders on product and technical initiatives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in software engineering and building a real product.
  • Hiring is open to junior, mid-level, and senior engineers.
  • Strong interest in combining backend performance with exceptional frontend user experience.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with engineering challenges at scale.
  • Experience with the technologies relevant to one or more workstreams, such as Java, Python, Angular, AngularJS, React, Node.js, Spring, D3.js, ECharts, Kubernetes, Docker, Spark, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with data science or machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is relevant for some tracks.
  • Ability to work onsite/hybrid from Berlin or fully remote from anywhere in Germany.
  • Interest in working on enterprise AI, analytics, and governance products.
  • Preferred familiarity with LLMs, databases, and cloud platforms, depending on the team theme.
