Description

  • Architect end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS for enterprise-grade applications.
  • Lead the design and development of solutions across AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
  • Drive best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and U.S. Healthcare data requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve solution delivery and reliability.

Requirements

  • Must be physically located in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue.
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, and Node.js.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably using CloudFormation or similar tools.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or Associate with significant enterprise experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead discussions and influence decisions.
  • Prior experience in U.S. Healthcare IT systems or healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR is preferred.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and pipelines within AWS such as Quicksight and Glue is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, including CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization, is preferred.
