Description

  • Prospect into large State, Local, and Education organizations while managing an efficient sales process.
  • Build, maintain, and own relationship maps across the territory, including existing and target contacts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business and value drivers.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large SLED enterprises by selling value and ROI.
  • Expand the reach and depth of existing customer accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Use resourcefulness to solve complex customer challenges and move deals forward.
  • Identify the key steps needed to close business and secure customer validation.
  • Maintain high forecasting accuracy and consistency.
  • Break into new State, Local, and Education accounts and win new logos.
  • Travel regularly to client sites within the region and other areas as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of closing experience, including field selling within an assigned SLED region.
  • 2-3+ years of SLED or government sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+.
  • Experience operating with average deal sizes of $100K+.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently using a repeatable methodology.
  • Experience selling for an innovative technology company; SaaS or IT infrastructure experience is preferred.
  • Experience selling into large SLED organizations and winning new logos.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to client sites by car, train, or air as business needs require.
