Description

  • Develop and execute an outbound prospecting strategy for specific Fortune 100 accounts.
  • Drive a strategic, multi-threaded sales motion across multiple stakeholders and product suites.
  • Cross-sell Datadog solutions and navigate complex enterprise accounts.
  • Own and grow assigned accounts while demonstrating the value of the Datadog platform.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business and pain points.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing and solutions engineering to support prospecting efforts.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI.
  • Identify the key business drivers behind opportunities and work toward customer validation and deal closure.
  • Maintain high forecasting accuracy and consistency.
  • Travel regularly to client sites as needed for the role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling into Fortune 100 companies.
  • Proven ability to win new logos.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+.
  • Experience operating with an average deal size of $100K+.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
  • Experience working for an innovative tech company, with SaaS or IT infrastructure preferred.
  • Self-starter mindset and strong resourcefulness.
  • Coachable and able to adapt sales approach as needed.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to client sites across your region and other regions.
  • Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales motions is preferred.
