Description

  • Prospect into State, Local, and Education organizations and run an efficient sales process.
  • Maintain, build, and own relationship maps for the territory, including existing and aspirational contacts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business and buying needs.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms by selling value and ROI to SLED enterprises.
  • Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth within the assigned territory.
  • Identify value drivers behind opportunities and work toward closing business and securing customer validation.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when solving complex customer challenges.
  • Maintain high forecasting accuracy and consistency.
  • Break into new SLED accounts and win new logos in a hybrid cloud transition market.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of closing experience in field sales, preferably in mid-market or enterprise environments.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $800K+ and averaging deal sizes of $50K+.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently using a defined sales methodology.
  • Experience working for an innovative technology company, such as SaaS or IT infrastructure, preferred.
  • Experience selling into State, Local, and Education organizations with the ability to win new logos.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to client sites within the territory and other regions as needed.
  • Passion for technology and the ability to contribute to a fast-growing public-sector sales organization.
