Description

  • Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies and run an efficient sales process.
  • Maintain, build, and own relationship maps for the assigned territory, including existing and aspirational contacts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business and key pain points.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large enterprises by selling value and ROI.
  • Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth across the territory.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in solving complex customer challenges.
  • Identify the business drivers behind opportunities and build validation toward closing.
  • Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency.
  • Close new business with Datadog’s largest strategic customers and prospects.
  • Travel regularly to client sites as needed based on business requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of closing experience in field sales, mid-market, or enterprise sales.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+.
  • Experience working with average deal sizes of $100k+.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
  • Experience selling for an innovative tech company, with SaaS or IT infrastructure preferred.
  • Experience selling into large Fortune 1000 companies and winning new logos.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to client sites across your territory and other regions.
  • Ability to operate in a cloud, SaaS, or similar technical sales environment (preferred).
