Description

  • Lead the successful delivery of complex customer engagements by providing technical leadership to the implementation team.
  • Guide technical teams through architectural decisions and trade-off analysis between established and innovative approaches.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies that could affect timelines and project goals.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables such as status reports, program plans, and customer responses with minimal rework.
  • Manage program scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resources across technically complex engagements.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customers on technical delivery issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams as needed.
  • Build trust with technical teams and stakeholders by clearly communicating Databricks’ vision and facilitating productive meetings.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple engagements while maintaining delivery quality and customer focus.

Requirements

  • Experience managing large, complex engagements and handling unexpected technical challenges.
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions without being a hands-on coder.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to stay current on technology trends.
  • Experience balancing scope, budget, and timeline trade-offs in program or project management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Track record of influencing technical teams and tailoring communication for engineers and executives.
  • Experience with BI, data management, and big data technologies is preferred.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple engagements while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
