Description

  • Define and direct the technical strategy for large enterprise accounts in partnership with the Enterprise Account Executive.
  • Serve as the primary technical voice for Databricks across multiple customer engagements.
  • Lead customers through the evaluation and adoption of Databricks as part of their data and AI strategy.
  • Build proof-of-concepts and demonstrate Databricks products to customers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with hands-on resources to execute technical work and showcase product value.
  • Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions to support account growth and transformation.
  • Build a network of technical champions within customer accounts.
  • Provide structured mentorship and guidance to other team members.
  • Work with executives and influencers both internally and externally to advance account strategy.
  • Use technical leadership to drive data-driven business transformation and change.
  • Present compelling technical points of view to decision-makers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience working in pre-sales, technical account management, or technical leadership roles.
  • Experience supporting very large global accounts, including accounts over $1M ARR.
  • Background in value selling and helping enterprise customers adopt new technologies.
  • Technical experience in data engineering, cloud data warehousing, and/or data science.
  • Production programming expertise in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
  • Ability to establish virtual teams and lead them to success within an account.
  • Experience building relationships with executives and influencers, both internally and with customers.
  • Experience in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data.
  • Experience practicing live or vibe coding sessions with stakeholders.
  • Databricks Certification is preferred.

  • Competitive base salary range of $219,100 to $301,300 USD for Zone 3.
