Description

  • Hire and manage a team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects focused on Lakebase.
  • Lead a collaborative, customer-obsessed team culture that supports rapid growth.
  • Partner with sales teams to drive technical adoption, consumption, and customer value.
  • Coach and develop sales and pre-sales team members to improve execution and collaboration.
  • Engage with complex strategic accounts and build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Translate customer feedback, technical requirements, and competitive insights into field readiness and product evolution.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to grow the Lakebase brand and improve field effectiveness.
  • Understand account business needs and revenue potential in the assigned region.
  • Support executive-level customer engagement and large consumption motions.
  • Promote modern data architectures, operational workloads, and AI-native applications in the field.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of first-line or second-line leadership experience.
  • Experience leading teams of 7+ people in first-line roles or 20+ people in second-line roles.
  • Senior-level pre-sales experience at a high-growth enterprise software company.
  • Experience with transactional (OLTP) database technologies.
  • Preferred experience with data warehousing, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or AI solutions.
  • Track record of driving large consumption and growth with enterprise customers.
  • Proven ability to influence, develop, and empower teams to achieve objectives.
  • Experience building strong cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
  • Experience in complex strategic accounts generating $1M+ ARR.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
