Description

  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects to understand the full demand plan for prioritized customers.
  • Lead the post-sale technical account strategy and execution for major Databricks use cases in strategic accounts.
  • Own technical leadership for assigned customers and use cases across multiple internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive onboarding, enablement, production go-live, and healthy workload consumption for customers using Databricks.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for production and go-live issues tied to agreed use cases.
  • Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Support, and expert technical teams to resolve work beyond your scope.
  • Create and execute a point of view for accelerating key use cases into production, including coordination with Professional Services proposals.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams on new innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
  • Develop execution plans covering customer-facing technical work streams, including adoption, enablement, governance, and optimization.
  • Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage, customer health, risks, adoption, and use case progression.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience delivering technical projects or programs in Data and AI.
  • Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
  • Ability to attribute business value and outcomes to specific deliverables.
  • Experience in technical program or project management with account, stakeholder, and resource management responsibility.
  • Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
  • Experience running open-ended discovery workshops, building strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
  • Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
