Description

  • Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks for 1-5 clients.
  • Partner with the Account Executive to define and direct technical strategy for key accounts.
  • Lead customers through evaluation and adoption of Databricks as part of their transformation journey.
  • Implement the technical strategy for each account in alignment with broader account goals.
  • Build technical champions within customer organizations to expand adoption.
  • Align account-level technical initiatives around Databricks solutions.
  • Provide structured mentorship to other team members.
  • Support the use of ML and AI across relevant retail and CPG use cases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with very large enterprise accounts, ideally in the Retail and CPG space.
  • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity.
  • Strong technical background in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience driving data-enabled business transformation and change management.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP, or full lifecycle data science solutions.
  • Experience maintaining and extending production data systems to meet complex customer needs.
  • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
  • Ability to understand the relevance and application of ML and AI across a range of enterprise use cases.
  • Databricks Certification is preferred.
