Description

  • Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across an assigned territory.
  • Partner with an Account Executive to co-plan account coverage and drive product-line adoption within target accounts.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and customer-facing collateral for prospective and existing clients.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor and champion to build credibility with stakeholders.
  • Translate field feedback and customer insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Handle complex technical escalations as the tier-3 technical point of contact for the field.
  • Work with customers to support informed adoption decisions and help them achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) experience across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
  • Credibility in influencing OLTP products and shaping roadmap priorities with market insight.
  • Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
  • Infrastructure and administration expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations.
  • 6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
  • Experience co-planning large territories with Account Executives and working cross-functionally across GTM and R&D teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Broad experience in two or more of the following areas: data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
