Description

  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, sales, and field engineering teams to understand customer use case demand and account priorities.
  • Lead post-win technical account strategy and execution for strategic customers and their Databricks use cases.
  • Own customer onboarding, enablement, go-live readiness, and healthy workload consumption across multiple stakeholders and selling teams.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for production and go-live issues, questions, and escalations within assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate internal resources such as Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Support, and subject matter experts to resolve customer needs.
  • Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production, including coordination with Professional Services on engagement proposals.
  • Navigate Databricks product and engineering teams for innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
  • Develop execution plans covering adoption, user growth, cost optimization, executive governance, and technical workstreams across customer-facing teams.
  • Provide internal and external status updates and KPI reporting on usage, customer health, risks, adoption, and use case progression.
  • Build executive relationships and guide customer stakeholders to drive growth and technical accountability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading technical project or program delivery in Data and AI.
  • Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
  • Experience attributing business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
  • Technical program or project management experience with account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
  • Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
  • Experience running open-ended discovery workshops, building strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
  • Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed.

  • Base salary range of $180,000 to $247,500 USD.
