Description

  • Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions for customer problems using the latest Databricks AI research techniques.
  • Own production rollouts of consumer-facing and internal GenAI applications.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across a variety of domains.
  • Present at conferences such as Data + AI Summit and represent the team as a thought leader.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap.
  • Support internal subject matter expert teams as needed.
  • Work directly with customers in a professional services, forward-deployed capacity.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic priorities and initiatives alongside engineering, product, and developer relations.

Requirements

  • Experience building GenAI applications, including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.
  • Expertise in deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimization.
  • Extensive years of hands-on industry data science experience using tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
  • Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience communicating or teaching technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for collaboration, lifelong learning, and driving business value through AI.
  • Preferred experience using the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark to process large-scale distributed datasets.
  • Willingness to travel once every 4-8 weeks to see customers as needed.
