Description

  • Maintain and grow the physician panel by sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding new physicians based on client demand.
  • Negotiate physician fees and contract terms within pre-established company guidelines.
  • Update and manage physician records, including fee changes, W9 and remittance updates, profile instructions, doctor groups, and deactivations/reactivations.
  • Research and source new panel options to address network needs and open service requests.
  • Collect and organize required onboarding documentation such as agreements, CVs, applications, W9s, and NPDB reports.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Operations to finalize physician fees and contract terms.
  • Lead contract renegotiations for existing physicians, including pricing changes and special initiatives.
  • Handle complex or urgent client requests, especially for niche specialties or network gaps.
  • Assist physician reviewers with technical issues and case-specific questions.
  • Provide daily progress updates and collaborate with operations to align the network with business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance environment.
  • Familiarity with provider networks and healthcare operations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of physician recruitment, medical specialties, and related terminology.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance standards.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Ability to work remotely with an uninterrupted, reliable, high-speed internet connection.
  • Occasional lifting, bending, or travel may be required depending on business needs.
