Description

  • Intake new cases and review or verify submitted information and requests.
  • Draft cases by entering data into the Dane Street AccessDS system.
  • Work with clients to resolve missing or incomplete information needed for claim processing.
  • Sort, organize, and create medical document listings when required by the client or special handling instructions.
  • Assign and schedule new cases to physicians based on location, availability, guidelines, jurisdictional requirements, and client requirements.
  • Ensure assigned physicians have no conflict of interest with the case assignment.
  • Monitor, process, and track cases to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide frequent updates to clients on cases in progress.
  • Communicate with clients regarding referral information questions and documentation needs for assigned reviewers.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform work that may involve lifting, bending, traveling, long periods of sitting, and extensive computer use.
  • Ability to maintain an uninterrupted internet connection while working from home.
  • Must supply and support your own internet service for remote work.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment is preferred.
