Description

  • Retain and expand existing client relationships across Dane Street’s Disability accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts.
  • Proactively generate new business through outreach, referrals, networking, and targeted prospecting.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans for clients to grow revenue and referral volume.
  • Collaborate with Director of Operations, QA staff, and Business Analyst team to ensure client satisfaction and resolve problems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Manager/Requester contacts and senior leadership at client organizations.
  • Identify risks proactively and resolve client concerns to protect account health.
  • Provide weekly reporting on account health, growth opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or client-facing sales roles.
  • In-depth understanding of the Disability marketplace, with LTD claims or clinical experience strongly preferred.
  • Disability claims experience in an insurance setting is preferred.
  • Experience with outbound outreach, prospecting, and revenue generation strongly preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to confidently initiate outreach, develop new client relationships, and demonstrate a track record of client retention and revenue growth.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, time management, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience navigating web-based systems efficiently, including Google Docs; computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to work from home and maintain a reliable internet connection; may require occasional travel and long periods of computer work.
