Description

  • Become a hands-on expert in the Brightspace platform and validate solutions in practice.
  • Support the sales process by becoming an expert in D2L products and services, including functionality, usage, architecture, and deployment.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations for a wide range of audiences, including district leaders, teachers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Build value-oriented presentations in partnership with the sales team.
  • Conduct needs analysis sessions with prospects to understand infrastructure, requirements, and customization needs.
  • Provide feedback to product management on field use cases and market trends.
  • Create technical documentation and prospect-facing materials as needed.
  • Serve as the conduit for engaging internal subject matter experts in sales opportunities.
  • Attend sales presentations, meetings, and conferences as required.
  • Write proposals by reviewing client requirements, identifying the best product mix, addressing gaps, and producing clear responses.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience using ed tech in a K–12 setting, such as as an educator or LMS administrator.
  • Knowledge and experience with learning management systems and other educational technology.
  • Previous experience with Brightspace is a strong asset.
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting complex education and technology concepts to different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business challenges and apply creativity and problem-solving to meet client needs.
  • Strong writing and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to work remotely in a professional manner.
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% for sales presentations, meetings, and conferences.
  • Ability to work various hours across North America, from PST to EST.
  • Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.

  • Base salary range of $76,000 to $90,000 USD.
