Description

  • Manage client onboarding through Salestrekker, including document collection, follow-ups, and data accuracy.
  • Support clients with platform access and document upload questions via open banking and messaging tools.
  • Issue required compliance documents such as credit guides, privacy documents, and introduction packs.
  • Conduct credit checks and assess borrowing capacity using lender calculators and servicing tools.
  • Identify suitable lender options based on policy and serviceability for broker review.
  • Liaise with BDMs and credit teams to secure approvals, pricing, and progress applications.
  • Order and interpret property valuations and manage submission-ready loan packages.
  • Prepare and lodge complete loan applications and manage post-submission conditions, MIRs, and settlement workflow.
  • Handle loan top-ups for existing clients using the same processing workflow.
  • Document internal processes and help build SOPs based on live operational experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in an Australian mortgage broking environment as a parabroker, processor, or credit analyst.
  • Strong understanding of Australian lending policy and credit assessment.
  • Proven experience analyzing self-employed income across company structures, discretionary trusts, and sole trader arrangements.
  • Ability to assess self-employed income independently without hand-holding.
  • Clear written and verbal English.
  • Ability to communicate directly with lenders and Australian clients on operational matters.
  • Active use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar in the workflow is preferred.
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Mortgage Broking is preferred.
  • Willingness to pursue or be sponsored into a Cert IV or Diploma in Mortgage Broking qualification is preferred.
