Description

  • Perform end-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of Australian clients.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and post month-end journals.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and assist with financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS, and support tax workpaper and return documentation preparation.
  • Support senior accountants with client work, compliance deadlines, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Liaise with clients to collect outstanding information and maintain organised working papers and records.
  • Publish completed work to Xero Practice Manager for review and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous bookkeeping experience within an Australian accounting practice.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero.
  • Understanding of Australian bookkeeping and tax compliance requirements.
  • Experience preparing BAS and IAS.
  • Experience preparing management reports and financial statements.
  • Strong reconciliation and accounts review skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to Australian income tax return preparation (desirable).
  • Relevant accounting qualification (desirable).

Benefits

  • Salary of Php 77,000 - 103,000 ($1,800 - $2,400 AUD per month).
