Description

  • Integrate development projects into AWS and AWS GovCloud production environments and provide ongoing operational support.
  • Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
  • Manage Kubernetes workloads, Helm charts, GitOps deployments, and release promotion across commercial and government environments.
  • Harden infrastructure and maintain continuous compliance across FedRAMP High, GovRAMP Moderate, and DoD IL5 authorization boundaries.
  • Own environment segmentation, secrets management, and access controls aligned with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP controls.
  • Provision repeatable infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK for cloud and on-premise deployments.
  • Support database deployments and schema migrations using Postgres, Flyway, or equivalent tooling.
  • Build monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational automation for availability and incident response.
  • Partner with Security/GRC on continuous monitoring, POA&Ms, assessments, audit evidence, and compliance cycles.
  • Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis while troubleshooting application, deployment, and operational issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience, including 2+ years operating AWS GovCloud workloads.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
  • Hands-on experience operating infrastructure under FedRAMP High or Moderate, GovRAMP/StateRAMP, or DoD IL5 frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and their application to infrastructure and pipeline design.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.
  • Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms, CI/CD engineering, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Experience with configuration-management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Rundeck.
  • Experience with queuing systems, relational database deployment and migration tooling, and continuous monitoring or audit cycles.
  • Knowledge of networking, containers, Linux, Docker, Git, AWS CLI, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
  • Preferred: AWS certifications, cybersecurity or SaaS experience, container and software supply-chain security, SBOMs, image signing, or SOAR/TIP familiarity.
