Description

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID in a hybrid environment.
  • Manage Group Policy Objects, user accounts, permissions, security groups, DHCP, DNS, and file/directory permissions.
  • Use PowerShell, scripting, and automation for reporting and system administration.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 in a hybrid environment, including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Support Microsoft 365 upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.
  • Implement identity, access, and compliance controls such as Conditional Access, DLP, Sensitivity Labels, and Defender for Office 365.
  • Manage and optimize virtualization platforms such as VxRail, VMware, and Horizon.
  • Oversee virtual machine provisioning, configuration, performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain physical and virtual servers, including monitoring, updates, backups, and security patching.
  • Create and maintain documentation, system diagrams, configuration records, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Conduct integration testing, transition, acceptance, and training from engineering to production.
  • Coordinate with other contractors, government organizations, IT staff, and vendors to resolve issues and support planning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience in an Active Directory environment.
  • Experience in a hybrid on-premises/M365 environment.
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting.
  • Expertise in Active Directory and Entra ID administration in a hybrid environment.
  • Experience with Okta installation, configuration, and migrations.
  • Experience with certificate lifecycle management and PKI/CAC/ALT-token authentication.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with VxRail, VMware, and Horizon administration.
  • Experience with ManageEngine tools such as ADManager, ADAudit, and AD360.
  • Experience deploying Windows servers in AWS and virtualized environments, with Windows Server 2019/2022 preferred.
  • Experience with SCCM/MECM and Intune in a co-managed environment is a plus.
  • Experience with BeyondTrust/Bomgar remote assistance or PAM solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with MDM solutions such as Intune is preferred.
  • Microsoft, VMware, and Okta certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
  • Must be eligible for Public Trust High (Tier 4/BI) risk level.
  • Remote role with preference for candidates in the DC metro area.
