Description

  • Drive high-leverage projects across the full stack from concept to completion.
  • Develop new user-facing features and update existing ones.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to define consistent APIs and frontend integration patterns.
  • Lead cross-team architectural decisions for the application.
  • Produce technical specifications and documentation for features.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for new features.
  • Work with product owners, AI/ML researchers, doctors, and other stakeholders to define, estimate, and refine features.
  • Contribute expertise to level up the team in areas such as API design, system design, cloud infrastructure, or healthcare data.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer owning features from design through delivery and iteration.
  • Professional experience with React, including components, hooks, state management, and performance.
  • Python backend experience, ideally with async frameworks such as FastAPI or Starlette.
  • Experience with both NoSQL and relational databases, including DynamoDB and Postgres.
  • Comfort with asynchronous workflows such as background jobs, retries, idempotency, and eventual consistency.
  • Experience using testing to improve product quality, including e2e coverage, visual regression testing, and CI.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Terraform, AI/ML technologies, Git, and RESTful services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Nice to have: React Native/Expo or other cross-platform mobile experience.
  • Nice to have: visual/snapshot regression testing, Storybook, or harness engineering.
  • Nice to have: design systems or component libraries experience.
  • Nice to have: accessibility experience, including WCAG and screen readers.
  • Nice to have: LLM application experience, including streaming, tool calling, and eval-driven iteration.
  • Nice to have: Temporal or other durable execution systems experience.
  • Nice to have: healthcare data experience with CDA, CCD, or FHIR.
