Description

  • Lead product assessments from pre-close diligence through post-close value creation and exit preparation.
  • Evaluate product strategy, roadmaps, go-to-market approaches, and competitive defensibility across EMEA markets.
  • Assess AI and machine learning capabilities, risks, differentiation, and value-creation potential.
  • Analyse product-market fit, customer segmentation, expansion opportunities, localization needs, and growth assumptions.
  • Review product organization structures, delivery capabilities, execution records, and readiness for growth.
  • Conduct executive interviews, customer discovery, expert-network engagements, and regional market research.
  • Synthesize research and interviews into structured, investment-grade deliverables.
  • Communicate complex product and market findings to investment committees, deal teams, operating partners, and company leaders.
  • Advise portfolio company product leaders on strategy, prioritization, localization, and capability development.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of product management experience, including senior or executive leadership roles such as Director, VP, or CPO.
  • Experience at B2B software or SaaS companies operating across EMEA or globally.
  • Track record of shipping products at scale and owning product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional agile delivery.
  • Hands-on experience building or leading AI/ML-powered products, including AI strategy, build/partner/buy decisions, model risk, data protection, and user trust.
  • Ability to evaluate AI strategies, data assets, model dependencies, differentiation, regulatory exposure, and roadmap assumptions.
  • Strong analytical skills using market research, customer data, competitive intelligence, and regional market signals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for non-technical executive and cross-border audiences.
  • Broad enterprise software, B2B SaaS, and full software development lifecycle experience.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments across markets and time zones.
  • Prior consulting, investment diligence, PE advisory, or PE-backed software experience preferred; familiarity with EMEA private equity processes and value-creation frameworks is advantageous.
