Description

  • Develop and expand relationships with private equity clients, portfolio companies, and advisors to drive business growth.
  • Scope engagements by collaborating with clients to understand needs and define effective solutions.
  • Lead client-facing project teams to deliver work on time, on budget, and to client objectives.
  • Own internal budgeting, scheduling, and resource utilization for engagements.
  • Participate in company-wide strategy and vision discussions.
  • Lead product or practice areas by setting roadmaps and contributing to templates and artifacts.
  • Onboard and sponsor new practitioners, including interviewing candidates and helping with engagement decisions.
  • Approve statements of work, budgets, and timesheets for accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Serve as project lead or second on engagements as needed.
  • Participate in sales calls and statement of work writing as needed.

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with clear ownership of client satisfaction and project execution.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills, including strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships and develop them independently.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Deep familiarity with modern technology stacks, enterprise IT, AI, and disruptive technologies.
  • Ability to balance client understanding with technical competency to frame compelling engagements.
  • A drive-and-ownership mindset with attention to predictable completion and business outcomes.
  • Team-oriented approach and willingness to support across the firm as needed.
  • Professional services firm experience at manager level or above, ideally with technology and/or private equity focus.
  • Demonstrated excellence in people management.
  • Clear spike of excellence in at least one of: creating, scoping, or delivering in technical due diligence and value creation.
  • Experience proactively developing growth in greenfield or underpenetrated relationships is preferred.
  • Experience shaping bespoke or standard technical engagements is preferred.
  • Experience translating technical insights into strategic, partner-, CxO-, or board-level recommendations is preferred.
