Description

  • Serve private equity portfolio companies across the Office of the CFO by evaluating current processes and recommending improvements to accounting, finance, and operations functions.
  • Advise PE-owned portfolio companies on inventory management, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Act as a NetSuite subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance to project teams and clients.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams of NetSuite consultants, Private Equity consultants, and client stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Help operationalize US-GAAP-compliant accounting policies and best-in-class month-end close procedures.
  • Design, implement, and optimize standard NetSuite solutions to improve product-level profitability reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio company representatives and private equity sponsors.
  • Participate in business development activities and help market services to prospective clients.
  • Mentor team members through coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor project progress, prioritize tasks, assess resource needs, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience leading and managing NetSuite implementations, NetSuite assessments, and NetSuite roadmap work for middle-market private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
  • End-to-end implementation experience with NetSuite standard and advanced ARM module and SuiteBilling, including revenue allocation and fair value.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite subscriptions, billing accounts, invoicing processes, and Price Book data migration.
  • Experience with other billing solutions such as Zone Billing (preferred).
  • Strong experience integrating NetSuite with other business application systems and data warehouses.
  • Software and SaaS industry experience.
  • Experience preparing financial management reports across ARR, bookings, and headcount, including comparisons to prior year, forecasts, and budget.
  • Experience working with Controller groups and accounting teams with solid knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow drivers.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and resolving complex project issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • 9+ years of experience in professional services.
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant certification, or equivalent experience, preferred.
