Description

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to C-suite executives on data initiatives and business goals.
  • Advise clients on modern data strategy programs that improve data access, governance, quality, and control.
  • Architect and design scalable, secure, high-performance data solutions across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Lead end-to-end data solution implementations, including ingestion, storage, transformation, and visualization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to define technical requirements and best practices.
  • Develop and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards across data platforms.
  • Optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and other team members.
  • Support clients with forecasting and predictive analytics model design and implementation.
  • Interview clients to identify root causes, define business requirements, and conduct current-state/future-state gap analyses.
  • Create executive-level communications and presentations.
  • Support business development through stakeholder relationships and go-to-market activities.
  • Mentor colleagues, provide feedback and performance reviews, and help teams resolve complex issues.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of professional experience leading data strategy, data architecture, data engineering, or cloud-based analytics initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams delivering analytical products and solutions.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data lake architectures, and real-time data processing.
  • Understanding of data security best practices, compliance standards, and access control.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Understanding of Python programming, including Pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science, or a similar discipline.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience advising clients on modern data architecture and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, or Waterfall.
  • Understanding of core finance and business processes such as Lead to Cash, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Hire to Retire.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise organizations, private equity portfolio companies, or private equity sponsors, preferred.
  • MBA or CPA, preferred.
  • Certification in Snowflake, Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau, preferred.
  • SnowPro Advanced Certification, highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel based on client preferences.
