Description

  • Own and evolve identity platforms and lifecycle workflows, including joiner/mover/leaver processes, access management, contractor lifecycle, privileged access, and access reviews.
  • Own AWS-based IT infrastructure, including access patterns, networking, logging, monitoring, and secure operational standards.
  • Design and maintain automations across the IT stack using ServiceNow, Okta Workflows, scripting, APIs, and webhooks.
  • Provide senior technical ownership of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, integrations, data quality, change management, and audit readiness.
  • Establish scalable standards and guardrails for IT-owned systems and review new implementations and complex changes.
  • Support enterprise AI tools and agent frameworks by contributing to safe adoption patterns, access controls, and governance.
  • Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex incidents across platforms and participate in the on-call rotation for critical issues.
  • Partner with Security during incidents to support containment, access changes, triage, evidence gathering, and recovery.
  • Collaborate with IT Support, Security, Enterprise Applications, People, and business stakeholders to improve reliability and employee experience.
  • Occasionally perform duties outside standard working hours to support a remote-first, multi-time-zone environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate IT or systems engineering with ownership of identity, SaaS, endpoint, and/or cloud systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS for internal IT systems, including IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, and secure administration.
  • ServiceNow administration experience, including workflows, catalog design, incident/change processes, integrations, and reporting.
  • Strong scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools, plus experience with REST APIs, JSON, and event-driven workflows.
  • Proven ability to independently lead technical initiatives, shape architecture, and influence cross-functional decisions without formal authority.
  • Strong written documentation skills, including runbooks, technical standards, and knowledge base content.
  • Experience setting up or operating observability and log management platforms such as Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Cribl Search, or similar tools.
  • Deep hands-on experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta, including SSO, lifecycle workflows, access policy design, and group-based access models.
  • Demonstrated ownership of macOS and/or Windows endpoint management, including MDM, provisioning, patching, compliance, and baseline security controls.
  • Preferred: Experience administering core business platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Glean, or similar SaaS tools.
  • Preferred: Experience designing or operating automations with Okta Workflows, Serval, Zapier, or similar orchestration platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience evaluating or supporting enterprise AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or Glean, and familiarity with MCP-based integrations and enterprise connectors.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting ITGC, SOX/IT controls, access reviews, or other audit and compliance processes.
  • Preferred: Experience with Jamf, Intune, Kolide, or similar endpoint and posture-management tooling.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a rapidly scaling, distributed company where strong systems thinking and clear ownership matter.

  • Base salary range of $136,000 to $213,000 USD, depending on geographic location and candidate experience.
