Description

  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code and unit tests for web application features.
  • Collaborate with team members on development and implementation work.
  • Optimize code for security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and defects.
  • Update issue tracking software and provide status updates.
  • Communicate with clients regarding progress and requirements.
  • Control code versions using version management practices.
  • Research new technologies to support ongoing development.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide software engineers, including evaluating candidates for open roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum 4 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of core PHP, MVC frameworks, and Yii.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress.
  • Proficiency with jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience writing backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL.
  • Ability to create database structures for required functionality.
  • Experience writing unit tests and achieving at least 90% test coverage.
  • Experience using GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
