Description

  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code and unit tests for server-side application features.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients on project progress.
  • Tune code for improved security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue-tracking software.
  • Control versions of code using version control tools.
  • Research new technologies and upgrade technical knowledge.
  • Lead a team of software engineers and provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of core PHP, MVC frameworks, and Yii.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress.
  • Knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience writing backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience creating database structures for required functionality.
  • Experience writing unit tests and achieving at least 90% test coverage.
  • Knowledge and experience with GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
