Description

  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned work.
  • Develop server-side code, RESTful APIs, and unit tests.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients throughout delivery.
  • Tune applications for improved security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue tracking tools.
  • Provide status updates and manage code version control.
  • Research new technologies to support ongoing development.
  • Lead a team of software engineers and mentor junior team members through training and guidance.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and contribute to team building.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript technologies.
  • Knowledge of NodeJS and frameworks such as ExpressJS and NestJS.
  • Experience writing backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience writing unit tests and ensuring at least 90% test coverage.
  • Knowledge of Github, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
  • Strong influence among team members.
  • Preferred: ability to create database structures for required functionality.
