Description

  • Develop server applications for multiple software platforms, including RESTful APIs consumed by client applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code, unit tests, and fixes to maintain application quality.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients on project progress and needs.
  • Tune code for improved security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by resolving existing issues and updating issue tracking software.
  • Provide status updates and manage code version control.
  • Research new technologies and apply them where appropriate.
  • Lead a team of software engineers and mentor junior team members through training and guidance.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of related professional experience.
  • 3-7 years of experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
  • Good knowledge of MicroServices.
  • Experience with tools such as Git, Maven, JFrog, and UDeploy.
  • Experience developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using MicroServices, with production-scale experience.
  • Strong design and programming skills with JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, and PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
  • Strong background working in Linux/UNIX environments.
  • Strong shell scripting experience.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL as the database engine deployed on AWS.
  • Working experience with PostgreSQL and Terraform.
  • Strong agile/scrum development experience.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for staying current with the latest technology trends.
