Description

  • Lead a team of software engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Mentor team members through continuous training and support.
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code, unit tests, and backend server components.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for client applications.
  • Collaborate with other team members and communicate with clients.
  • Tune code for improved security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue tracking software.
  • Provide status updates and manage code version control.
  • Research new technologies, evaluate candidates, and help upgrade team skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 6–8 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript technologies.
  • Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as ExpressJS and NestJS.
  • Knowledge and experience building backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience writing unit tests and ensuring minimum 90% test coverage.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and security compliances/standards.
  • Experience with GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
  • Strong influence among team members.
  • Experience creating database structures for required functionality.
