Description

  • Ensure adherence to contractual SLAs and service commitments.
  • Lead urgent issues and projects, communicate status updates, and assign staffing resources as needed.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and team tools.
  • Collaborate with development engineering to build and deploy CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement QA, development, and other environments.
  • Deploy and support applications in cloud environments.
  • Maintain infrastructure security, reliability, scalability, and automation.
  • Provide direct server support during deployment and production operations.
  • Work with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and best practices.
  • Design, implement, and test infrastructure solutions.
  • Automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of related professional experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Azure, App Center, CloudFormation, Ansible, Subversion, and Docker.
  • Strong configuration management experience with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL platforms such as MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
  • Experience with Windows Servers on VMware, IIS, MSSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Advanced scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong experience with Linux distributions including RHEL 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux.
  • Experience embedded with development teams to help automate and optimize workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
