Description

  • Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business objectives, architecture, requirements, constraints, and dependencies.
  • Translate customer needs into Atlassian solution architectures and implementation approaches.
  • Create implementation estimates, including fixed-price estimates, with clear assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, and scope boundaries.
  • Identify technical, delivery, and commercial risks before commitments are made.
  • Support pre-sales activities including workshops, demonstrations, proof of concepts, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work.
  • Advise customers on architecture, configuration, integrations, migrations, security, governance, and operating models.
  • Provide technical leadership across Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and the wider Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, engineering, and distributed teams to ensure effective implementation handovers.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Atlassian products, Marketplace applications, emerging capabilities, and product direction.
  • Validate solution approaches hands-on and shape opportunities that create appropriate follow-on work.

Requirements

  • Significant experience designing and delivering Atlassian solutions in complex customer environments.
  • Strong current knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery and translating business and technical requirements into solution approaches.
  • Experience estimating professional services engagements and defining assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, and scope boundaries.
  • Strong understanding of fixed-price delivery risk and commercially credible estimation.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales through workshops, demonstrations, proofs of concept, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with technical and senior business stakeholders.
  • Practical understanding of Atlassian migrations, integrations, data, security, governance, configuration, and adoption.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple opportunities while maintaining strong documentation, estimation, and follow-through.
  • Preferred: Atlassian certifications, Jira Align or Rovo experience, Atlassian Cloud migrations, enterprise transformation programs, and knowledge of Agile, SDLC, ITSM, SAFe, or ITIL.
