Description

  • Develop business operations decision-making systems that improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze domain data to generate insights and define key metrics.
  • Explain reports, algorithm details, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prioritize metric development requests and lead junior business analysts on key initiatives.
  • Keep reports and systems current by learning and deploying new methodologies and technologies.
  • Document project deliverables, decisions, and final results.
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements, translate them into tasks, and drive timely delivery.
  • Train and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to capture and analyze data in new ways.
  • Contribute to analytics projects that support Coupang’s growth and company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data, business analytics, or other quantitative fields.
  • Excellent SQL skills.
  • Proficiency in English (preferred).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of statistical analysis and algorithm design.
  • Experience initiating and driving analytics projects and delivering actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features and analytical projects.
  • Experience creating Tableau reports, Grafana dashboards, or similar GUI-based reports (preferred).
  • Relevant experience in retail or e-commerce businesses (preferred).
  • Experience with Python libraries, Spark, R, GitHub, Airflow, Wiki, Jira, Gantt charts, and PowerPoint (preferred).
